Who We Are
PeachCap was founded in 1985 as a CPA firm serving wealthy Atlanta families wanting to optimize their tax strategies. As business bloomed, clients began asking for estate, stock, and financial advice as a natural evolution of their successful relationship.
Sensing opportunity, PeachCap registered as a broker-dealer in 1990 and immediately began offering a wide range of tax, wealth, and accounting services to its clients. From investments, to bookkeeping, the firm operated similarly to what’s known today as a multi-family office: a one-stop shop for all things tax, wealth, and accounting related.
PeachCap is a technology-enabled firm dedicated to a mission of democratizing the family office model and making it accessible to the main street client. PeachCap’s collaborative client model provides fully integrated tax, wealth, and accounting services to individuals, families, and businesses. Our unique structure partners Tax and Wealth Advisors to work cohesively for clients, maximizing the impact of advice and minimizing financial stress.
David began in the industry as an equity analyst during the 2000 tech collapse where he experienced uncanny results when his small team’s deep value approach to investing beat the S&P by over 36% during one of the biggest bear markets in history. After graduating early, he embarked on a journey to live in the favelas of São Gonçalo, Brazil where he gained many life and business lessons still guiding his success today. After returning to the states, he worked for a Fortune 500 Company where he was ranked as one of the Top Financial Advisors and managers. He held sales, compliance, and operational roles covering the Southeast Market Group. When the 2008 financial crisis hit, David decided to build a business from scratch with the desire to educate and materially change the industry by providing fully integrated tax, accounting, and wealth services to families and businesses across the globe. David is also involved with Emory Global Health, GCAPP, and Entrepreneurs Organization among numerous other socially minded initiatives.
