Summary

PeachCap Tax Advisors are responsible for income tax planning and preparation for individuals and companies. To best serve PeachCap clients, Tax & Wealth Advisors also conduct research on tax laws, strategize with clients to minimize tax liability, prepare tax returns, identify investment opportunities, and assist clients in complying with their tax obligations. Advisors may also work in tandem with an Investment Advisor and/or a Client Service Advisor to provide uniquely integrated Family Office services to high-net-worth families and individuals.

 

Details

Reports directly to the Head of Specialty Tax Services.

Tax Advisors must be adaptive and able to handle a wide variety of simple to complex personal and business returns.

Our unique model requires Tax Advisors to communicate with their respective team to service shared clients from a wide angle that considers the integration of financial, tax, and investment planning. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Advisors may need to assist in federal and state audits.

Keep abreast of current developments in the tax areas that affect PeachCap clients, so that you can proactively advise clients.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.

Masters in Tax, Enrolled agent (EA), and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

3-5 years minimum experience with tax preparation and managerial responsibilities of day-to-day financial and tax operations.

Thorough understanding of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance.

Great communication skills and ability to work closely with clients and employees.
